Accommodations

There are numerous rest camp compounds through out Kruger Park, each situated in its own unique ecosystem.  During our time in Kruger Park we will stay at several different rest camps in order to ensure maximum game viewing of a multitude of species.  The rest camps at Kruger Park are excellent.  Every compound has a mini grocery store containing basic food items and a gift shop.  Most have a restaurant offering tasty buffets and dinners and some have swimming pools and internet cafes.  In addition, all camp-compounds are enclosed by an electric fence to ensure the safety of guests.

A bonus to guiding safaris in South Africa is the wide range of accommodations available to suit everyone’s budget and needs. Raven Adventures is able to offer this amazing trip at such a low cost partially due to the fact that we can offer campsite accommodations. For those who are willing to pay for a little more comfort and privacy, huts and bungalows are available at rates comparable to a mid range hotel. And for those who would love to splurge, you can rent an entire guest cottage, which will sleep 6 people or more, complete with a full kitchen, bath, and shower. The following is a list of different accommodation possibilities while in the park.
